They had just joyfully marked their 48nd wedding anniversary, a testament to their enduring affection and happiness.

Bill's two daughters, Lisa and Suzanna, were spread across different states, caught up in their own whirlwinds of career and kids. Despite the distance and their own responsibilities, they always found moments to come together. Once a cop always on his toes, Bill now indulged his time in golf, culinary experiments for his wife, and gardening.
