True ‘Friends’ Fans Will Relate to These Memes
The Rice Trick
We all know the trick to getting a phone that fell into the water to work again — you simply put it in a large rice container overnight. Many people who have tried this method swear by it to effectively distract water from electronic devices.
Joey’s thoughts were always a delight as his way of thinking was extraordinary. While we praise the method for saving our latest iPhone, we doubt that rice can fix Joey. In fact, we reckon there’s very little that can fix Joey.
Stay Faithful
A big part of the show was the trials and tribulations of the group’s dating lives. Rachel dated quite a few men, and for some of them, the end of the relationship wasn’t exactly filled with peaceful memories.
In this episode, Rachel finds out that her boyfriend has been unfaithful, and the gang becomes very curious about what will happen behind closed doors. Chandler is generally regarded as a quick thinker, and his advice is pretty solid!
That’s Not My Job
Joey’s character always made us laugh with his comments, which often came across as quite unintellectual. In fact, Joey’s character was a great contrast to the bookworm Ross. In this episode, Joey portrays a doctor.
After asking the patient his date of birth, Joey continues to ask him his age. The patient asked whether he couldn’t figure it out since he had his birthdate. The response is so classically Joey. He’s a doctor, not a mathematician, of course.
Emoji Resemblances
Any Joey fan will agree the resemblance between Joey and the Whatsapp-confused man is uncanny. In so many episodes, Joey did this exact pose, showcasing his non-committance.
This is one of those situations that once you see it, you can’t unsee it. From now on, whenever you see the Whatsapp confused man emoji, are you going to think of Joey? We know we’ll be thinking of him!
The ’90s was a great era filled with awesome music, exciting fashion, and one of the best TV sitcoms of all time. Friends was the kind of show that drew its audience in so much that people felt like the six friends were their own friends, too. We went through the highs and lows with Rachel, Ross, Phoebe, Monica, Joey, and Chandler. While every episode made us laugh, these memes will always remain epically relatable.
